I'm a big fan of early 70's germanium transistor technology, feedback type compression, and old output iron; it's all about the electron flow in those old 70's transformers. I have many of the classic british pre-amps and compression amplifiers in my studio. I pride myself on building phat punchy analog mixes with strong wood and brass tonal qualities, separation and balance. I only use the plugin's when I'm too lazy to get up out of the chair or can't find a patch cable.
