"I don't know much what it's like to sound "like The Beatles", cause the Beatles did songs of any style. Is it like Love Me Do or like Helter Skelter?. Or is it I Am The Walrus or Let It Be?"

"You shouldn't have to sacrifice who you are just because somebody else has a problem with it."

Hey, thanks for the friendship! Thanks also for taking the time to listen to my tunes. Please give your constructive impressions..

I really love your songs...especially "Somewhere Girl". So jangley and melodic and "RIC-VOX-IC"..(just made that word up right now).

Also, the backwards guitar is amazing and used so well on "Inner Groove"...very psychadelic.

I would love to know how you got such heavy hitters to play on your songs! Keaggy, Sfara, Stomehill....Wow....a bit like "Sunday's Child", eh?

Peace,

Barris

Hey Sir Richard! Thanks for the request, you sound great! I loved "Inner Groove", it sounds like real backwards guitar as opposed to a pedal. And you've got Phil Keaggy playing with you as well, cool!

Take care, watch out for your Ricky and Vox getting run over there in the middle of the road, and remember to start your day with a bowl full of That Satisfying Crunch!

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. Your music shows the dicipline needed to pull off a great 60's and 70's style. Great job, not many musicians these days could have done this.

We are two Christians who collaborate over the internet using the same software platform and basically the same hardware in order to have compatibility to swap tracks back and forth. (virtual studio) We appreciate the melodic rock styles of years past and try to incorporate that into our music. We hope your music adventure continues and brings you much happiness.
Peace FT

"Somewhere Girl" is sublime indeed! You do this Beatlesque stuff better than anyone, Richard, and I can't help feeling that several thousand of my myspace friends would fall for something like that song. The brevity is Beatlesque too.

Hi Richard! So the rains came. Did you run and hide your head?

Our praise band is recording 12 songs to give to the congregation as a worship tool. They include some congregation faves and a few originals. We went in to do basic tracks a few weeks ago and got all 12 tracks DONE in 9 hours. AMAZING! God is so good!

I'll send you the finished product in a few months....

I miss you bro,

Mark

OK - "Song For A Circle Of Friends" is my favourite song ever, and when your version started my heart sunk and I thought... uhoh, even the rhythm's all wrong.

But I shouldn't have doubted you guys. By the time it was finished I was loving it. Fantastic job. I love the appropriate lyric changes and the Beatlesque sound and the little musical jokes/quotes.

And by doing it so well, it's actually better that you didn't just ape the original as that would have seemed pointless.

It's beautiful and thanks for doing it! Larry would love it.
