Influences	Richard was influenced by his good friend Ralph McTell back in the 70's folk club scene, along with Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Al Stewart. he hung out with the late John Martyn in Glasgow and when they both moved back south to London.

When you were speaking to us you mentioned that you had met another of our heroes, the late great Rory Gallagher, when you worked on Capital Radio. So we thought we'd post a comment so you could check out what we do... When we're not doing our own solo projects (I play comedy/folk, and cheekily cover a few of your songs in my set, while Richard plays the blues y'all) we do an acoustic tribute to Rory (via Leadbelly, Big Bill Broonzy and Blind Boy Fuller).
