Stephan Bodzin gets a mention because i remember him being behind some unreal records long before all the bandwagoners latched onto his nu techno style. tunes like Taiko - The Silence (w/huntemann), and tracks by Kaycee(bodzin/huntemenn). I also respect the guy because without his amazing skills in producing the music for just about every artist in his genre, most of the big names in techno wouldnt have the name thay have today without his rock solid hard work in getting to the point he is at now. I hate the current boring slow techno obsession that just about every artist is making these days. no emotion, the same kick sample over and over again, the same cheap moog imitation attempts. the list goes on. where is the emotion? i really dont know.

Yo Richard, congrats on all your success dude. I've been seeing your name on album cover mixes everywhere. I'm not really in the loop with the new stuff, but I love me the classic tracks...
I like discovering all the great music from that era, the new stuff just can't compare, ever. The techno/tech-house/minimal scene has a lot of productions that resemble early works, it's a sub-genre of techno called "Neontrance." I really love that stuff. Really stripped down hypnotic stuff.
