I remember our basement, filled with broken furniture and beautiful people, listening to music, amplified to shake the whole rickety, falling down margaret house, the 2, with it's children perched on the roof, under night sky -a magnificent array of stars. Travelling bands: Ghost Bees et al. House parties. They were golden.
Hey, I'm putting together a local music film of 20 artists playing around the city. Some venues, some house shows, a lot of outdoor acoustic stuff. Let me know if you want to be a part of it!
Here's some of the artists that I've filmed/will be filming for it:

I hope yer well, I've been reading about you and the band(s), wondering if you're touring again soon. I'm taking off to teach english in Indonesia in mid May, but I'd like to see ya before I go. Maybe even film some shows if it's cool with you.
through dinosaurs, we can imagine something real but is no longer existent, the power of ciphering what skin tones they had, what they actually ate, or how they actually breed, or communicated, the strategy of fabricating a fact from clues through their deaths gives us a broader understanding of creation, of imagination, of another world of the same world. giving a human being the ability to give life to what one would create, giving breath to creation through paint, clay, rhetoric, music, and/or performance through no factual evidence of its origin. we must fallaciously and corporate perspectives from religious dogma, not to just lay it down for good, but to use it's imagination as well. to use it as a benefit for thought, imagination, creation, and strategy along side science, or dinosaurs. in that we have a much higher authority to create more than some creator of lands. we walk the earth now. we created faith, we predict our faiths, we observe our own. we are starting to understand the world, both past, present and future. we are individually gods and goddesses living as one, giving life to creation of thought and death. owning our environment, creating capitals, creating province and state, creating rules, creating food, fuel, technology, changing the climate, and creating ourselves (babies(. no god, no higher power, no supreme being is telling you to put yourself in situations of chaos, no puppeteer is pulling your strings. you are the director of your dream, and reality, the air around you and I is clay, you can mold it into whatever you would want. tell the world how you would play god.
I really love your songs, I am glad I came across them. I am hoping to come out your way in spring, so maybe, hopefully we can play some shows together?
I remember sitting in a certain One World Cafe trying to write a song. Little did I expect a show to pop up out of nowhere. So I gave my dollars and saw an amazing artist and inspiration named Richard Laviolette. I even got a CD out of it. A Little Less Like A Rock, A Little More Like Home has since then been sort of a 'comfort food'. And as many times as I've been proud to tell this story, will be as many times excited I am to be at your show at Gus' pub.
