Richard Mekdeci is currently touring the United States and Canada to spread the message; “Let everybody know, God is and all is well!” He is the president of Itoi Ministries (pronounced eye-to-eye), a nonprofit organization and the newly formed emPower Music and Arts, both dedicated to creating an industry to support Posi Music, a message driven genre who’s purpose in the world is to empower and unite diverse groups of people.
Richard’s experience as Licensed Unity Teacher, speaker, singer and award winning songwriter spans a wide range, from being Music and Creative Arts Coordinator at a spiritual retreat center in Kansas City for 5 years, to over 20 years of writing, producing and performing in Nashville Tennessee and 12 years as a Unity Church Music Director.
Richard has four CD’s of original music and his fifth expected in the Fall of 2008. He’s been compared to Randy Newman, Elton John, Billy Joel and Ray Charles. His music is empowering, uplifting, singable and accessible to all ages and styles.
