Born from the solo workings of Richard Peter Snapes, The Lie Awakes are a 3, or a 4, or a 5 piece band who love to play Indie-folk-pop. They have just finished an album of 10 or 14 tracks depending which way you look at it. There are two small, one medium, and two large musicians in The Lie Awakes. As well as enjoying each other musically, The Lie Awakes also enjoy each other socially, frequenting various bars, clubs and cinema's together. In these places, there is a tally of the most disapproving shaking heads toward any one lie awake, that would be Richard Peter Snapes. Record: 17. He doesn't know why.
