You can't really tell...but my influences are Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, Neal Casal, Josh Ritter, Rufus Wainwright, Damien Rice, Joan Baez, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Catherine Feeny, Ray Lamontagne, Justin Rutledge, The Beatles, Jeff Klein, Wilco, Neil Young, Don McClean, U2, Patty Griffin, Tracy Chapman, Badly Drawn Boy, Jeffrey Foucault, Brendan Benson, Bright Eyes, David Saw, Gillian Welch, Paul McCartney, Gin Blossoms, Grand Drive, Grant Lee Phillips, Jack Johnson, Jesse Malin, John Mayer, Kate Rusby, Leonard Cohen, Mindy Smith, Nels Andrews, Stephen Fretwell, REM, Sonic Mojo...to be continued
Been writing songs for a while, but finally got the guts to start singing them a couple of years ago. Since then i've met some really cool local promoters doing great work for the Norwich music scene (Black Cat Music, GO Acoustic, The Tilting Sky, Club Uniquity) and met some really talented singers and musicians. Highlight so far is supporting Catherine Feeny at Wensum Lodge in 2005 (missed Liverpool's Champions League win though - went on stage, 3-0 down, came off stage, 3-3!).
Still writing a bit and doing the odd gig. Probably going to write some more upbeat stuff if i can (don't be misled by the downbeat songs on here...they're only slow so i can remember the lyrics when i play them live...i'm actually a pretty happy fella).
i moved to Woodstock and i'm opening a very cool new venue called Alchemy of Woodstock...it's in my top friends...take a look and send a request...we've got a great line up of talent
Just wanted to tell you about a film screening on tuesday. It's an award winning documentary about how our society has changed as a result of 9/11 and 7/7.
Am MI5 whistleblower will be there to speak and answer questions. So too will the films director.
It's at the Queen Charlotte, Dereham Road on 9th Decmeber.
I think it'd be great if the music community of Norwich stood up for a little truth so I'm telling as many of us as possible about it!
Tracks from our album "Falling Up" are now available for purchase on myspace.
Come by and say hey!
Also, visit our myspace or website to check our tour schedule for this Spring and Summer. We'll be hittin' up Colorado, Cali, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Kansas, and more!!!
We wanted to take the opportunity and let you know about a brand new online audio community.

Hello mate, yeah, thought i'd get into this "MySpace" caper, I have a mate who lives in Australia and another in America, a very good way to keep in touch, hope all is good with you.
Hello,
Funny you should mention moving. Tonight's my last night in the flat, am moving tomorrow so I too will be losing the net. I'm surrounded by boxes and a bare empty room as I write, boohoo. Well, the neighbours will be happy.
Hopefully I'll see you again soon. Actually, I was at Dukes Head on Fri, it is lovely. Am at Art Centre this Sat lunch time for Black Cat acoutsic thing.
A ha, there you are, thought I'd lost you in the web of myspace. Was going to text but as I now, finally have the internet I'm just a little bit addicted.
Very welldone on Fri! Really moving, at least two people asked if you had a cd, lots of people commented on how beautiful your songs were, think you made one girl nearly cry (in a good way) so keep writing, quit the day job and get out there. x
