The Richardson Guitar Studio started out as Peter Richardson's one-man guitar teaching studio back in 1999. His approach is rooted in enthusiasm for an eclectic range of musical styles, and he emphasizes a solid foundation of technique and theory rounded out with ear training and performance skills. In other words, his students have fun and they see solid results.
Peter has recruited a few hand-selected local music stars to keep up with the demand for lessons and offer some additional instruments, including bass guitar, keyboards, drums, flute, cello and banjo. We're also supporting the local scene with rock band classes and lessons, classical ensembles, theory classes, rockin' recitals at the Gravity Lounge, and occasional workshops and performances by visiting artists.
