He is the star of the new indie film, "Jake's Corner" in which he plays ex-Football Star Johnny Dunn. The film has been praised by fans and critics alike and is currently making the rounds on the Film Festival Circuit.
Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Richard moved to Hollywood to pursue his love of acting. He holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Cornell University and was originally going to practice law before he decided to head to Hollywood.
Richard is known best for his roles as Buddy Revell in "Three O'Clock High", Cullen Crisp in "Kindergarten Cop", and Perry in "Two Moon Junction". He has also been in "Black Hawk Down", "There's Something About Mary", "Genghis Khan", "Kingpin" and many other film and television roles.
Richard was the star of his own TV series called, "Hardball" which ran for a year in 1989.
Richard is an accomplished actor performing both on film and television and frequently takes the stage to perform Shakespeare.
He was on CSI : New York in the episode, "And Here's to You, Mrs. Azrael", in which he played Frank Russo - a father accused or murdering his daughter.
Richard has just finished filming "Naked Run" in which he plays the lead as well as the movie “Fear Chamber” to be released this year.
