Influences
First and foremost my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Musically, I have been influenced by so many great players. When I lived in NY I took guitar lessons from Ziggy Allen, a great Jazz guitarist who played with Tommy Dorsey. He not only introduced me to the great Luiz Bonfa, but prompted me to find my voice, and create my own style, and alas I am a bluesman from head to toe. My main influences are: Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman, Dickie Betts, Eric Lenchner, Billy Goodman, Otis Rush, The Kings, Freddie, Albert, and BB, Tommy Bolin, Robert Johnson, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Buddy Whittington, Boz Scaggs, Tom Canning, Mike Holloway, Luther Allison, The Beatles, Johnny Winter and Rick Derringer, The Stones, Robben Ford, Prince, Al Dimeola, Eddie Van Halen, Sly and The Family Stone, Buddy Guy, Rory Gallagher, George Clinton, Steve Kimock, Santana, Butch Ford, and last but not least the great Muddy Waters, just to name a few.

Sounds Like
The blues and nothing but the blues!! The whole point of me playing music is to take all that I learn and make it sound like me!! At some point I hope I at least achieve that.
Richard Waters grew up in New York City in the late 50's early 60's. To get him out of Harlem in the summer, his mother sent him to a camp in Vermont in 1964, and there he was introduced to acoustic folk and bluegrass music. Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, The Kingston Trio were just a few of the artists that would help shape his musical sensibilities. At this camp over the next few years he would also hear the music of the The Beatles, The Stones, and The Yardbirds, with Page, Beck, and Clapton. Here he also took his first guitar lessons. More to be read on blog.
I wish you a wonderful weekend. Sincerely Peter Tschirky
Think twice before…. Text by Peter Tschirky
Think twice before you eat a fish. the animal died in Lake Victoria in Africa.
Think twice before you buy a cheap T-shirt Child labour is cruel.
Wake up, wake up Go with open eyes through the streets You are not alone in this world
Think twice before you use the car in the city. the black dust sticks in your lungs.
Think twice before you buy Coca Cola. In India, the water level drops.
Wake up, wake up Go with open eyes through the streets. You are not alone in this world.
Think twice before you privatize the hospital Maybe you're sick tomorrow.
Think twice before you eat a hamburger. Junk food is nothing for your body
Wake up, wake up Go with open eyes through the streets. You are not alone in this world.
Think twice before you take drugs. Many farmers have paid with their life in Colombia.
Think twice if you choose a new president. War and peace shake hands.
But why I tell you this? Deep inside you exactly know what about I'm talking. Wake up, wake up Go with open eyes through the streets. You are not alone in this world.
Hey buddy, sorry I never got back to you. Just remembered that you called. Saw your pic and it sparked my memory. Anyway, I miss ya and hope you and the family are well. Let's play together soon!!! Thinking bout' ya!

You are much appreciated and very important in my life. Thank you for caring and thinking about me. A good way to keep friends is to let them know you care about them too! You're a classy person and your friendship is valuable to me! May God Bless You! Wil
