   About Rich Chorné
As an international guitarist, singer, award-winning songwriter & composer, producer, and an independent record label enterpreneur, Rich Chorne has been enticing audiences throughout the nation for decades. A native from El Paso, Texas, Rich brings to the table those Texas-foot-stompin' guitar influences that will drive the average person into a dance frinzy. He has worked with such artists as Timberline, Hall & Oates, Daryl Davis, Art Lewis, The Noisy Boys in Ruidoso, NM, Johnny Johnson (Chuck Berry & Eric Clapton keyboardist), Jay Boy Adams from Texas, ZZTop, The Kat Crosby Band (El Paso, Texas), The Cathy Ponton King Band, Choo-Choo Charlie Williams & the Spitfires, and others; as well as created and maintained his own band. His most currently known band is The Rich Chorne' Allstars. His knowledge and wealthy experience as a former NYC Sony corporate executive in the field of broadcasting has added to his resume of understanding those elements for ensuring good & tasteful music. Rich has played extensively in large-venue circuits such as Artscape in Baltimore, MD; three Friday after Five's in Charlottesville VA;, Kenny's Rentesvous and the Bitter End in NYC; the various Chesapeake Bay Blues Festivals in Sandy Point, MD; the Cincinnatti Inn in El Paso, Texas; Meloe Melo in Amsterdam; just to name a few. He is widely known throughout the Maryland-Washington, DC Region in local venues as well; along with local venues in the El Paso, Texas and Ruioduso, New Mexico. Rich has produced three (3) CDs in total: (1) "That's Shor-Nay," (2) "My First Car," and (3) his current one entitled, "The Rich Chorne Allstars featuring Nadine Rae," which has received two 2006 WAMA (Washington Area Music Association) nominations for Best Recording, and his featured artist, Nadine Rae, as Best Female Vocalist; both in the category of Blues/Traditional R&B. Another song on this CD, "Love Power," which was co-authored by Rich and Jeff Muller, made the finals in the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest. Press reviews received have been extremely favorable of Rich's latest CD venture, and addresses the elements of Rich's guitar-playing, songwriting, and the high quality of the vocal and instrumental musicianship of those who performed on this CD project. These attributes make him what he is today. Additionally, he has won Best Song 1995 for "Bouncing Betty," by the Songwriter's Association of Washington (SAW); an instrumental that highlights Rich's excellence in guitar delivery. All-in-all, you can basically say that this man is truly "Too Hot to Handle;" one of his favorite songs to sing.
