Rich began playing guitar at the age of 17 after listening to Black Sabbath's Live Evil and Judas Priest's Screaming For Vengeance albums. He also sights Iron Maiden and early Metallica albums that gave him the spark to pursue the guitar. Rich has been playing, writing and recording ever since then and released the instrumental CD Heathen Machines in September 2006.
How's life treating you these days? All going well? It's been ages since we last, eh, exchanged comments. ;-)
Yeah, busy times here, too, but I haven't forgotten (about) you. I'm now listening to the new material in the player and I can only say this: thumbs up! Very nice compositions (for example, Burnt Shadows is a beauty), very good production.
In fact, there's not one bad song there. I like 'em all. Sure, it's online and a first impression, meaning more listens are a must. But so far, I can only be positive.
The idea of that boy saying an intro... did Steve Vai's "Passion and Warfare" album inspire you? ;-)
I don't know if you already have a new album out or if the songs are just a pre-taste of things to come or awaiting a release, but I do know I want a copy of the album. :-)
You are influencing Kendra. She was listening to The Sword on demand tonight. She was also playing along with her favorite band AC/DC..I thought you would get a kick out of this...
Ok, I found the perfect house in the country made of cement with bars on the doors and windows... We can dig underground tunnels to escape possible zombie attacks... let me know what you think.
