Rich Kubicz is a singer/songwriter who hails from Union, New Jersey. Rich has been playing Guitar since he was 9 and started writing his own music at the age of 16.
Rich's debut album Echo Lake was released in August of 2005. The record contains 10 songs that combine a myriad of different styles and genres. Call it a concept album mixed with folk rock, country and acoustic guitar driven ballads. The lyrics most often tell a story or describe a social condition.
Echo Lake was also produced by Rich. Although most of the songs were written as acoustic guitar stand alones, the inumerable possibilities to experiment with different sounds gave Echo Lake a fresh new direction in acoustic music. Rich and his co-producer and engineer acted like two kids in a candystore behind the mixing console but also tried to keep the music tasty.
