My First Two Books
About my first books. I am constantly asked if I wrote them because I suffered from depression. The answer is yes in that when your friend or partner suffers depression, you suffer as well. The books were born out of the experience of having been with someone whose depression problems are so deep seeded that the person has developed a major disorder. This is nothing that came about overnight. It has been growing inside this person for many years long before I met them. Because detection was not made early enough and the person doesn't seek proper treatment to manage their disorder, it will always be a center factor in the troubles repetitiously experienced in that person's life.
The books are to promote depression awareness and management. They are in recognition that there is survival and great possiblities of a high quality of relationship and life despite the illness. The books show you the how and the why.

The First year I missed the first 8 weeks of Heroes because I kept trying to find it on the Food Network.
My real heroes are the everyday people who reach out to others in times of need for no other reason but it is from the heart. I know many of those people appear on my friends list.
Update Dec. 07 I wrote the above statement over two months ago. As each day has past it grows in truth more and more. I applaud you all for exemplifying my belief that every one has something special within them. As you are all special people in more ways than you realize.
