About me:
Not long ago I was the Vice President and Top Executive for the largest property management company in the state of Arizona making an $85,000 per year salary with bonuses. A year after my promotion to Vice President of the property management division I was offered ownership in the company. When that was presented to me I thought that I had arrived.
Enthused by this new opportunity I gave the owners $65,000 for one percent ownership…1%!
About a year after my ownership buy in and many corporate meetings I realized that I no longer had any enthusiasm for my J.O.B. It took me a while to put my finger on it until one day I realized that I was sacrificing 50-60 hours per week…absent from my wife and kids…and for what, just to increase someone else’s stock portfolio while working within the framework that they dictated...no thanks.
After much consideration I made a Firm Decision that I Would Be Completely Free from my Corporate Job without Sacrificing My Families Financial Future.
