MY FATHER TAUGHT ME PIANO, AT AGE 6, AND I HAVE BEEN PLAYING EVER SINCE! I APPEARED ON SEVERAL ALBUMS/CDS OVER THE YEARS: ORION EXPRESS, PRISONER OF THE SKY, DOIN' THE BACKSEAT BOOGIE, IT’S ABOUT TIME & OTHERS.
I RECEIVED HONORABLE MENTION IN BILLBOARD CONTEST FOR 'TURNING TO STONE', CO-WRITTEN BY MY WIFE JANICE RUSSOM. RECENTLY COMPLETED A PROJECT FOR THE EPA ON THE HISTORY OF SABINE ISLAND, WHICH MONITORS OUR COASTAL WATERS. ALONG WITH LEE COURTNEY, WHO PRODUCED THE PRESENTATION, MANY OF MY SONGS WERE USED!
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO DO FUTURE PROJECTS FOR THE EPA! I CURRENTLY HAVE (8) CDS AVAILABLE, AND HAVE THEM FOR SALE ON MY IAC SITE!

And 'One Life' is utterly stunning, so gentle and emotional and beautifully played, I can't stop listening to it. You have really helped us to get our message across and your support is a vital way to make a difference through advocacy that speaks to the heart for rescue animals and the compassion they need so desperately.

Rich - what can I say? Requiem is stunning!! And all the more poignant as I too have recently lost a little soul who chose to spend four years of his precious life with us. Thank you so much for this beautiful piece of music, and for donating the proceeds to One Life Rescue. You're a star!! And Paul's guitar is heartwrenching!
Save California Pets from Unjust Seizure! Attention: Husky, Malamute, German Shepherd, Wolf Dog, Pit Bull owners! State hearings on October 1, 2009 will allow officers to seize pets if they ‘look’ like a wild animal, even if they are obviously mostly pure dog. Almost secret hearings in Northern California will change our pets lives forever. Fish and Game Commission hearings on October 1, 2009 are reviewing regulations that will enable the seizure of your pets. These regulations specifically authorize the officers and wardens to determine your pet is a regulated species without the burden of proof, and requires the permits and containment standards of the full blood wild animal. Targeting certain breeds to be banned in your area: Northern Breeds, like Malamutes, Huskies, and Akitas could be seized, or subject to rules none of us can meet. German Shepherds, Teruvians, White Shepherds would be, too. Thousands of dogs in California will be affected. If this is allowed to stand, expect the statewide banning of Pit Bulls, Rottwielers, and other guarding breeds to be next. Your local Animal Regulation use this as their guide for animal control. This will encourage or even force your local service to take animals from their homes, and require containment and permit standards that almost all of us cannot meet. Your dog may be picked up for getting out the yard, and you might find yourself needing to build enclosures that won’t fit on your property, or even choosing to move to another county instead of putting your pet to sleep.
