Firstly, and as always, thanks for your continued support. It’s always so lovely to see people around and at all the fairs and hear how excited you are!
Just wanted to let you know what's happening and what to expect in the next few months from RCRD... because it's all terribly exciting and I think I might BURST if I try and keep it in any more...
We have dates for our first season! The season will be made up of three bouts between RCRD league teams Brutal Pageant and Smash Malice.
The dates are:
September 19
October 10
November 7
Tickets for the September 19 bout, Skate of Emergency, are on sale now at www.undertheradar.co.nz. We were crazy sold out last time when we were only selling tickets at the door so get in as soon as to make sure that you get seats and to avoid the greatest disappointment of all - Lack of Derby Disappointment.
Don't forget that we have our regular Freshmeat and Greet on the last Wednesday of each month at Mighty Mighty... and that we're a regular fixture at the Mighty Mighty Markets too, fund raising and generally spreading the Good Word.
Who I'd like to meet: Want to get involved? There's a couple of ways you can get into it...

We also need referees! The perfect way for guys and other slightly less proficient skaters to get involved... an integral part of the running of the Derby, you need to be tough to corral skaters who Break the Rules.
Slightly less work, but still super important: SUPPORTERS! We need people who are willing to give us a hand to help us get this juggernaut off the ground!
