Rick and the Krickets are a Hamilton oldies rock and roll band. The group has been together for four years, performing most weekends around the Hamilton/Toronto area. Rick and the Krickets specialize in songs from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, which suit nightclubs, classic car shows, and cultural festivals. The group performs as a trio (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) and on occasion they add various sidemen for whatever the function calls for.
Rick and the Krickets have just completed their first cd, entitled “Right as Rain”, which features four original songs, and five rock and roll classics. The band has played over 160 gigs in the last 2 years, and a list of references is available upon request.
