About Rick Brown

Hello! Welcome to my profile.
I am 43 years old and I am from Roseville Michigan. I have been playing guitar for 30 years, I recently decided to take a different approach to music.
I love to improvise and create guitar sounscapes.
All the music you hear on my profile was improvised.
I have spent most of my years playing cover songs and playing music to a fixed format. I have recently been enjoying creating music as it comes to me through inspiration of the moment.
This way of creating music is still new and experimental to me and hope to create better music in the future.
I have met some great musicians and great people here on Myspace.
I appreciate all the feedback.

I made a guitar program in flash for me to use when I'm working on new stuff.. It will let you choose any combination of notes and lay them out on the entire fretboard. I find it very helpful for arpeggios, to see how the inversions are layed out. Check it out it might be helpful to you.
