BIOGRAPHY
Ask anyone who has seen him perform in his regular haunts along the Australian East Coast Pub and Club circuit and they will tell you, Ricko has talent to burn ... as a singer / songwriter and performer, he most certainly has that ‘X Factor’ that makes entertainers stand out.... a 'star' if you will.
In a relatively short period of time, with hard work, focus and patience, Rick has honed his craft as a writer, and perfected his performing skills to be second to none.
In the past 3 years, Rick has been a headlined artist in the Australia Day Festival at Wollongong Harbour, (attended by over 15,000), and taken his unique blend of down home Aussie rock around the planet, performing in London, Madrid, Hollywood, New York, Nashville and Toronto.
Rick spent the first half of 2008 in the USA, recording in Los Angeles, and Nashville, and returned in 2009 to finish his first 10 song CD entitled "Love Retaliation".
His experience of working with producers, Duane Sciacqua (Paul McCartney, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh) and Carl Jackson (Dolly Parton, Glenn Campbell), and living in such inspiring musical communities, has been life changing on both a personal and professional level.
