i listen to a lot of electronic stuff... i dig uberzone, iris, meat beat manifesto (killer live A/V act!), hybrid, chemical bros., the list could go on for eons... i like a bit of industrial & EBM as well.
long-time faves include starflyer 59, adam again, poor old lu, the choir, 77s & mortal. aaron sprinkle [and his band FAIR] are probably my favorite seattle-ish musical peeps. i also dig E-Pop, the Northern Conspiracy, and Red Letter--they're bands that play at Mars Hill Church.

i dig a lot of sci-fi stuff--and have a special spot in my left aorta for the older flicks--the cheesier the special effects, the better! loved batman begins & am really looking forward to the dark knight. ironman was spiffy too, but being an X-phile since the beginning, i'll have to see the new movie as well.
i'm a little bit too big on the godzilla franchise. it borders on creepy... [k, i confess. it's too close to obsession to be a healthy thing. oh well.]

About me:
i don't have a life, but i do paddle around in a kayak a lot*. sometimes when i'm paddling i take way too many random pointless photos. i like messing around with video stuff and making trippy background loops. every now & then i mix video junk to live music and/or DJ sets. during the day i'm a motion graphic designer at screenlife, a company that makes DVD board games + some other shtuff.

My name used to be New Jersey, but I changed it. I didn't like the cow connotations. Speaking of the San Juans, my dad spent half of his childhood on Samish Island and still has a small piece of property there. A lovely, lovely place.
