...the compositions are strong, and Pageot and the band provide a restrained but very effective backing behind Di Lauro's strong voice ... Di Lauro and Pageot clearly make a great first impression on this intelligent, appealing disc and make me look forward to Di Lauro's full CD. Highly recommended.

Ric’key Pageot is a pianist, keyboardist, producer, composer, musical director, and he is happy. Why? Because ever since he was a teen, when he decided to become a professional musician, so far, all of his career goals have come to life.
1- He tought piano at a local music school before completing his musical studies
2- He pursued his post high school studies in music, and graduated from McGill University with a bachelor degree in Jazz Performance
3- He began his professional career in his native city of Montreal by working with the best recording artists from gospel to latin music: Monica Freire, Paolo Ramos, Corneille, A.K.A. Soul-o, Umoja Gospel Choir, Tony Albino’s Café Soul, and many more.
4- He founded his own jazz funk band, Jazzma, with his father, Fritz Pageot on bass and performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2000. Then, every following year, he would become one of the most sought after young keyboardist to accompany other bands for festivals around Quebec.
5- Although the stage is where Ric’key feels the most comfortable, he decided to begin to work as a producer in 2004, when he helped release Montreal’s sensational singer Dessy Di Lauro’s EP ‘A Study of a Woman’s Soul’, which received acclaimed reviews in magazines in Canada, US, and Europe.
6- Ric'key was also invited to be among professional music industry panelists in 2005 at The Motor City Music Conference in Detroit, MI: Strategies for Independents and Majors in the Music World's New Economy. He also performed with Dessy Di Lauro at that conference
7- From Sept 2005 to Dec. 2007, he was touring in major arenas with one the most successful entertainment companies in the world, Cirque du Soleil, as Musical Director and keyboardist in the show, Delirium, becoming the youngest band leader ever hired in Cirque's 24 year history, at the age of 28.
8-Since May 2008, Ric'key has been touring with the one and only Madonna, playing keys on her "Candy Shop" Promo Tour and keys & accordion on her "Sticky & Sweet" World Tour, set to begin in the Summer.
Ric'key believes that we all control our own destiny. We all have God-given talents to develop. It's up to us to discover them, no matter what it may be, and use them to make a living! Remove all negativity in your life, and take a straight path to get to where you want to go. Be a Master! Ric’key continues to set goals for his career and continues to be passionate about whatever he sets himself to do. With the help of God Almighty's blessings, nothing will stop him.
