I was born a poor white child in Fort Huachuca, Arizona in 1975. My formative years were spent as an "Army Brat", moving almost every year to a new place. By age 10, I had lived in Germany, Georgia, Alabama and Alaska. On my 16th birthday I received my first guitar: a Travis, one of those guitars "guaranteed not to crack". I took a total of two guitar lessons, cleaning my instructor's toilets as payment. Needless to say, I decided to teach myself from then on. In 1998 I moved to Dallas to join Davenport along with some of my high school chums. Davenport ran it's course and I eventually formed Back To Blue with singer Eric Jordan. I'm currently in the process of recording some new songs for my upcoming solo CD "Winterbloom".
