SOMEONE STOLE RICK'S TRADEMARK WOOD SIGN!

If you see it, please beat whoever's holding it over the head and return it to Rick. In the meantime, we're doing a benefit to raise money to get him a new one built....
Nevermind Billy Joel, THIS is the real piano man. Rick Lyon is known for his renditions of Neil Diamond songs but he knows OH SO MUCH MORE! In fact, more songs than anyone you know. With his state of the art keyboard, he PLAYS AND SINGS over FULL backing tracks, many of which he wrote himself, becoming, actually, a true one-man band! A mirror hangs precariously above him so you can get a view of the flying fingers from wherever you're sitting. He plays The Imperial House Continental Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge, 505 Kalmia St. on Bankers' Hill, every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 until LATE, (1:30 AM) so you SHOULD REALLY GO, shouldn't you?

I also love "Singer/ Songwriters": Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Harry Chapin, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Kenny Loggins, Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Warren Zevon, Harry Nilsson, John Prine, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton & Steve Goodman! (From my "Solo Guitar" gigs in dive bars, years ago!)
I do love requests, so please bring in ALL of your favorites when you come in! I like to add new songs to my repitoire all the time so bring your fav in and I'll learn it for you! And YES, I DO Actually play the keyboard, contrary to some "popular beliefs" (I think David mixed that guy's drink, eh? He needs to come up and look a little closer!)
