Guitar player, songwriter, singer, recordist, bass player, and generally pleasant individual, Rick Murnane is busy producing solo material, after many years of being identified primarily through his work with bands Group DeVille and The Prestons, as well as hours logged in the studio and onstage as occasional sideman. "Telling Time," a seven song collection, was released in late 2007, and work progresses toward a second solo disc. Each new song will be introduced here first, before another CD release sometime in the future. As always, the songs showcase Rick's ego-trippingly amusing fascination with turning his daydreams into oddly charming little musical voyages.
