I have been influenced by so many styles of music. I grew up listening to George Jones, George Strait, Juan Gabriel, Luis Miguel, to many of the greats from Mowtown such as Sam Cook, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. I eventually found a voice writing and singing country music. It was my first love, but somehow the others found their way into my songs.

I would venture to say a mix between George Strait and Luis Miguel. Both very different artist but very prevalent in my voice.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX . I am a singer songwriter. I grew up playing clubs throughout Texas while in High School. I began writing when I was sixteen years old and fell in love with it. I decided to go to Nashville when I was 19 and landed a Management deal with Refugee Management, and a recording contract with Arista Records. What an amazing time that was. Soon after, I was signed as a composer to EMI Music Nashville. I was so blessed to travel the world throughout Europe, Asia, Central America, and of course the U.S.
Over the years I was lucky enough to have many songs recorded by many of my favorite artists. Mark Chestnutt recorded two in “Angelina,” and “I’m Gone.” This was so great as I began my career singing George Strait and Mark Chestnutt songs. Soon after, Sara Evans recorded “I Thought I’d See Your Face Again,” on her No Place That Far CD. Rick Trevino recorded one of my favorites in “I Wish He Wouldn’t Treat Her That Way.” Emilio Navaira recorded “Life is Good” which later became the Miller Light Jingle and started the Life is Good campaign for Miller in Texas. Out of no where a duo out of Brazil, Gian & Giovani recorded one of my Spanish songs “Yo Busco Una Estrella.” It was such a huge hit that it was number one for many weeks. What a blessing that has been!!
One of my greatest moments was playing Austin City Limits with legends Freddy Fender and Flaco Jimenez. It was the first Spanish show ever aired on Austin City Limits. I also got to record a duo with Michael Martin Murphy with a live symphony, and being on stage with a hundred musicians sure sounded beautiful.
A short while after I was asked to compose a song for the AIDS Foundation. I was honored to do so, and so I called a few friends in Bruce Bouton and Tommy Polk to lend a hand and we wrote a song called, “Let’s Not Look Away.” It was recorded by the Tejano greats Emilio, Ram Hererra, Jay Perez, Bobby Pulido, David Lee Garza, and I was happy to tag along as well. The album Canta La Vida was sold to raise money for the foundation.
To my surprise I was called to join Chris Perez on his record to sing the harmony vocals for the Chris Perez Project, which later won a Grammy award.
With all that being said I simply want to say that I am so grateful and happy to have the opportunity to share my songs and voice with all of you. It is such an awesome opportunity that all of my friends and fans have given me to share my life in song. It is always such an emotional process to put your heart on tape and open up your deepest and darkest emotions with the world. It is no surprise that after a long stay away from Home, I would look to record my first Spanish record back in San Antonio. I am in the process of recording the record, and I have simply become an insomniac trying to get this album done. I thank you for all your support!
A dream is a lonely place to be if you are all alone. The constant messages and comments urging me on sure do keep me company on those sleepless nights. Thanks for the company, and I can’t wait to share this new record with all of you!
