Joan Matey wrote: There's so much sincerity pouring out Rick Ott's music that it rocks my soul every time I hear it. His original songs bundle together all the nostalgia reminiscent of that great era of meaningful rock (like Crosby- Stills..., Jethro Tull, Hendrix etc.) He's masterful at mixing the heart tuggin' personal stuff of a minstrel's story in a song with totally awesome kick ass guitar licks. Those back woods musicians in Sopchoppy are astoundingly talented and when I have the good fortune to hear them live I get goosebumps and feel like I am lucky to be in on a great secret. This music shouldn't be kept secret and it's time for the world to hear this clean, honest, true blue, down home rock that just plain makes you feel good.......Rob Hinhee wrote: This is really music From the Heart; Rick and the band do a unique blend of blues and rock with a little country sound. Hard to pin it down but Sopchoppy music has its own sound, you won’t hear this music anywhere else. I highly recommend this Cd
Rick Ott has over 30 years of experience in the music business. From early in the 1970's, Rick has performed as a singer, songwriter playing guitar in small venues and clubs throughout the Southeast. In the mid 1980's, he co-founded one of the largest sound and lighting companies in North Florida, Reel Rock Productions. This opened the door to interact and work with most of the major touring artist of that period. During his time with Reel Rock, he worked with such acts as Prince, George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Lawrence Welk, Liberace, Cindy Lauper, The Police - just to name a few. During this same period, he was engineer/producer for Flamingo Studios in Tallahassee, Florida working with artists such as John Kurtzweg, who has since produced the award winning band, Creed.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

I know I would enjoy it. Oh well, just a thought... are you playing anywhere this weekend, I have some folks coming up from central Florida and want to show them around.
