Sounds Like
Elvis Presley, Shakin' Stevens, Cliff Richard and Billy fury......So i'm told!!!!
I've been a fan of Shaky's ever since the age of 5. I remember the first time i ever saw him on tv, he blew me away. I was amazed at how this guy moved, i loved the beat of his music and his live shows were even better.
For me, he is the most under rated Rock'n'Roller ever and certainly by far the best to come out of England.
I've been fortunate enough to meet him twice, first time in 1999 backstage at one of his concerts and the second time was in 2003 backstage at the Prince of Wales Theatre where i was playing the part of the young Cliff Richard in the Westend show "Cliff The Musical"
Shaky gets a lot of bad press but i have to say, both times i've met him, he was down to earth, very friendly and just an all round nice guy.
Along with Elvis he is the reason i wanted to be a performer, and thats exactly what i have been doing now professionaly since 1996.
I've been in many bands and done many gigs over the years and it always amazes me how the audience react when i perform Shaky's songs, This ole' house, Green door, Marie Marie, Oh Julie, they love them all, especially on the Rock'n'Roll circuit.
I've been performing my Shaky tribute on and off since 2003 but my act has always been based around the way Shaky moved, mixed with a bit of Elvis.
In 2006 i was asked to perform at the annual Shakin' Stevens fan party in London and have done ever since, i guess i must be doing something right.
Anyway thats enough of that, if you would like more information on me please visit my website at www.rickyaron.com or for you Elvis fans, take a look at my Tribute to a King page www.myspace.com/rickyaron78
All the best,
Ricky Aron
