Ricky Jackson was born in Miami Fl. July 7, 1985. He has always had a natural talent for music, since the age of 7 when he sang and played music in his family’s church and violin in elementary school orchestra. But after a serious accident at the age of 12, his musical dreams and ambitions had to be put on hold. After 2 years of recuperation he entered into middle school with a heart to play music of any type to express himself in a non-physical way. While in middle school he gained a passion for playing saxophone and after his second year playing music he gained first chair in his districts honors band. At the age of fifteen he was accepted into the New World School of the Arts in Miami Fl. There he studied with great saxophonist Ed Calle, and went to IAJE with the New World School of the Arts Jazz band. Outside of school he was accepted into The Miami District Youth band where he learned the art of improvisation and was granted the honor to go on an American tour with the band for four years. He graduated From the PAVAC program at Miami Northwestern in 2003 and was accepted into Florida International University on full scholarship. Residing in Miami Fl he attends FIU where he studies Music performance and accounting. He hopes to further his musical career by writing music and performing in very differentiating venues from a Christian pop-rock/soul band called Toolbox, to a R&B-Jazz/fusion band like Tool Box. Even though his tastes in music differentiate you can be sure to hear a unique blend soulful and tasteful saxophone/piano-singing song writing & playing when you listen to the young- but skilled musician.

Woah that is pretty philosophical.
Lets say humanity needs inhibitions, but not fear. Fear holds you back. But then again, fear makes you work harder.
Yes that is a very marketable name, I expect 10% royalties for endorsing it.
Sup Ricky, hows it going.
