Ricky continued to develop his gift, singing in choirs before joining a covers band, playing the local circuit and gaining invaluable experience as a performer. Ricky made it to the last 5 of the Australian Idol competition in 2006, with the love and support of the Australian public.
This is not the last we'll see of him!
