The promise of adventure and a good time along the way.
The Friends who've held me up and those who've let me down.
Loneliness, exclusion, this crazy little world losing it's crazy little mind and the idea that some people here can still be reminded where we came from. It's like fighting Dementia armed only with a toothpick but let me pick your brain and you can pick mine. I'm sure we can find something interesting to talk about.

Crows and Lies
Ravens and Truth
Honesty doesn't have a sound to it but it sure is one hell of a marketing term for music.
This sounds better than honesty, it's more than that. I'm not here to bore you with the truth all night long, unless the the truth is interesting. (In which case you won't be bored by it)
The sounds of my father's record collection and my descendants ipod, or whatever gizmo is next.
From the edges of the great dismal swamp comes Rick Younglove, armed with a crooked smile and an army of songs that have soaked up the world they have traveled through.
The hopeful desperation of a Mississippi gambler's luckless charm on the gulf of Mexico, Trying to find the meaning behind what we call God between the peaks of the mountains and lows of the deserts out West, Searching for the crazy little knots in that common thread that separates us all on the streets of Chicago, all the way to the tip of Wisconsin's Peninsula; where the waters have swallowed man and vessel whole.
Rick Younglove is a singer, songwriter, artist, multi-instrumentalist, and clown born in Milwaukee Wisconsin but raised, from an early age, in the southernmost parts of Virginia. He has called many places home over the years, but he currently resides in North Eastern Wisconsin.
The songs are mainly folk tunes with an emphasis on lyrics and a heavy dose of finger picking on most compositions. Most of the instruments on both records (Prey 2008, Exile 2009) were played by Rick.
Prey was recorded at Lu Viola in Oak Park, Illinois with the help of Mark Janka (Lesser Birds of Paradise) and Mixed by James Wagner at Strobe Studios in Chicago.
Exile was tracked by Rick Younglove at his home in Fish Creek, Wisconsin and Mixed and Mastered by Kevin Rains in Chicago, IL.
Nah, I deserved to be banned. I did this to myself. I had it coming. I told one of the bartenders I was in love with her. it was THE WAY I told her that got me banned for stalking. If you read my blog last summer you'll understand why the ban was put into effect, but between you and me, I thinks Garrett's reply to my blog was insulting and uncalled for. I bear him no gudge though, since we both decided to take down the offending blogs. If you want me to refresh your memory, I'll PM you the blogs, since I printed them out to cover my ass, just in case, but if I were you, I wouldn't really bother. I'm trying my best to move on and forget the bartender in question. It's cost me a LOT of good friends. I know Nathan Xander is thirsting for my blood, and I don't even begin to know what Adam Fawcett and William Blackheart think of me anymore. Sorry to go on like this, but I need to get some sleep. Can you tell?
Hope uncommon ground was good. My life's not getting any better. I've been banned from the Gallery(LONG STORY. I had it coming though. PLEASE make sure to hear my side of it before making ANY final judgements about me) I wasn't even allowed back for C.J.s memorial. If you think the T&A is bad now, you should've seen it 2 month's ago. It looked like a copy of Maxim.(LOL)
Lousy as in you confess your love for a bartender, and not only does she hate you, certain people write blogs about you, friends turn into foes, you don't know who to trust, and you can't show your face at that bar again.
i have been laughing all night listening to this guy named ned making prank calls. somehow i found it on youtube. its like a barrel of fish shooting monkeys while laughing, in a barrel.
