This is the band that Ricky, Jim Ambrose & Casper had formed. Ricky had worked with Casper and Jimi on a previous project as a session drummer on a project produced by Steve Priest out in California before Ricky, Casper and Jimi decided to be a band.
They did a lot of studio time to put together a cd which was almost completed before Ricky became too sick to record. Ricky did finish all of his drum tracks however. Release date for this CD will be posted soon. There is a "sneak peak" of a few of the songs on the Trnzprnt myspace page. Jimi & Casper are working hard to get the finishing touches done for the release of this album. 2 of the songs on the upcoming cd were written by Ricky.
Updates will be posted on this page.
Ricky Parent RIP
9/5/63 - 10/27/07
Donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society or Sloan Kettering Medical Center in Ricky's name. They did a massive amount of work on Rick, and kept him going for a few more years. The staff there loved him, and took great care of him. He also met some children there that were also being very well looked after. He would want their care to keep on going.
An American Cancer Society memorial gift expresses the sense of loss when cancer takes the life of someone important to you. It is also a meaningful way to celebrate the memory of a loved one who cared about the American Cancer Society’s mission to prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from this disease.
When your memorial gift is received, the American Cancer Society will promptly send a personalized tribute card to the person or family you indicated, notifying them of your thoughtful donation.
