This Trini poet, has made his mark in NYC as a Graphic Designer and Spoken Word Artist. Recently seen on B.E.T. He was blessed to Co-Host a monthly poetry open mic series with Jeffery Feller at the legendary NUYORICAN POETS CAFE (2004). With his passionate word flow, a 2X GRAND SLAM FINALIST and Team member of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Slam Team, RANKED 5TH in the Nation(2008). Also a 2X GRAND SLAM FINALIST @ URBANA which placed 6TH in the Nation(2007). All the while designing and producing artwork for the likes of MTV, Ecko Unlimited, recording artist Pharoahe Monch and Zap Mama, to internationally known poets such as Bryon Bain and Ainsley Burrows. Rico truly believes that with a strong work ethic, a creative mind and friends that believe in you. Anything is possible. Let the work speak for itself. HOLLA HARD.
