When one watches a tree for too long they stop seeing Shiva and start sinking into the tree -
A good rap they need with a solid wooden spoon! For that tree is alive for only Shiva provides it life, trees are with no soul, as are they who say they worship Shiva but truly bow to a tree.
Just wanted to say Hi from Syracuse New York. Been here for three days now. Was just at this house out in the suburbs a ways and there was the most amazing waterfall in the back yard of the house we we're at. I have met so many gracious east Indian families. They cook us home aid food from India, in Rochester, no silverware. The most gracious hosts! Here in Syracuse I've seen the lake and been to the most amazing house just today with this huge majestic waterfall off the back porch. Swami Ken is a great elder, he's not my guru, and he respects that reality even though he helps many in the spiritual way. My guru has always been life itself. I as well respect that I'm not his yogin, even though I help many people in a spiritual way. Swami Ken a strict meditator. I am one who does yoga and meditation simulatiously, this is known as Transindental Mediation and Tantric Yoga of the Lotus Flower of the Kundalini Chakra. If one meditates they are of silence, if one does yoga they are of stillness, when one is of Saava they are of a delicate harmonious blend of stillness and silence. a thought - how does one look at something versus how does someone look at something with directions -a thought that sprung on a ride to the water here in Syracuse on the way to the water. I had a small debate with someone over meditation and devotional meditation. I'm personally not one who sees benefit from my Saava when it is not of devotion. All are and all be, but for me personally its devotion. For this when one hits a peak or feels or sees of their practice, they are bearing witness to God. When one blisses out from saava its for they understand something in a greater way of who they worship then they did before. The meditator is silent for they seek to know who they worship.
