Hi everyone my name is Ken and I am the president of RKMC NY Chapter 19 and we would like to invite you to check out our event. Every year since August 2004 we have sponsored a charity fundraiser for the Building Futures Foundation of Madison-Cortland ARC.
Currently we are in the early planning stages of the "6th Annual Ride For The ARC" and will be announcing date/time and location of the event. This year we will be planning 2 separate routes one starting from Cortland and another in Oneida NY, both routes will join and finish together for another afternoon of food, music and fun....

This year marks the sixth anniversary of the Ride for the ARC. At a recent planning meeting for this years’ ride, the original organizers remembered the Ride’s beginnings.
“In early April 2004, we received a call from representatives of the Madison-Cortland ARC. They requested a meeting to discuss sponsoring an annual motorcycle event that would benefit their public charity branch, the Building Futures Foundation,” says Ken Ernenwein, President of Red Knights Motorcycle Club NY19, the host of the annual charity ride.
“We were trying to come up with something different to do in terms of a fundraiser. Madison Cortland ARC Executive Director, Ray Lewandowski; Christine Sears; and Red Knight / ARC employee, Ken Ernenwein met, and after Madison Cortland ARC made a formal presentation, the Red Knights accepted the challenge. Being a newly formed club, the Red Knights had never organized such an event. “The Red Knights embraced our cause,” says Sears. In August 2004 the first Ride for the ARC drew in over 100 motorcycles and raised money for the Building Futures Foundation. “A year later we were back at it, planning the second Ride for the ARC, which was held in August 2005. Once again the motorcycling community came through, more than 120 bikes rode a 75 mile route, ending at the Deerfield Fire Station,” says Ernenwein. In 2007, the Madison-Cortland ARC named Red Knights NY Chapter XIX the "Volunteer of the Year,&qu
