The Doors, Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Fuel, Tito & the Tarantulas, Los Lobos, Mana, Juanes, Los Lonely Boys, The Connectors, Santana. Really anything that'll get your head bobbing, hips shaking and heart pumping.
As you can see from the small song list, we are pretty eclectic. Karnaval has taken from Spanish Rock, Latino Music, TexMex, Alternative, Classic Rock and Country.
Sounds Like
Lucha Libre with Tito and Tarantula and Los Lonely Boys. The Doors cruising with Sublime.
Why don't you see for yourself at our next Gig?

James Perez & Karnaval has been kicking up the San Antonio band scene for the past two years. Their original Rock en Espanol and unique mix of Latin and American Rock keep the crowd screaming for more. Fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist James Perez and backed up by Karnaval, it is not a band to miss!
Hailing from Brownsville, TX, James began his career playing drums. He then progressed to playing guitar and singing. James developed his skills playing anywhere from showcases to shady bars in South Texas. When James turned 20 he helped establish Shotgun Sally, a national touring act opening for bands such as Iron Butterfly, Nazereth, Savoy Brown and the Black Crowes. He returned to the valley several years later and became a local celebrity when he founded Three Blind Mice/Ratones Ciegos.
James has been a San Antonio resident for the past 8 years and has made quite a few creative marks on the city, from designing a logo for a growing local retail chain to sharing his audio and musical knowledge with local musicians. James can be found entertaining at many venues around San Antonio, always growing the crowd with his amiable personality and great music. He is well known for his soaring vocals, vast musical repertoire and crowd interaction. VIVA ROCKERA!
