The Ride is a brand new, fresh out the box monthly magazine for Banbury’s disenchanted yoof.
We work on a not-for-profit basis – there’s no money in it for us – to give you a different perspective on your humble countryside surrounds.
Alongside events listings you’ll find features on fashion, music and general interest among others, as well as some of the world’s most cutting edge, out there, state-of-the-art graphic design and artwork. And it’s all FREE!
Most of us are in our twenties and have been friends for a while, bumming around Banbury’s streets and putting off any kind of dangerous activity such as getting a career.
However, late last year one of our more motivated members decided enough was enough and, spotting the potential for such a magazine in this neck o’ the woods, set about poking us all in the arm until we surrendered our souls to Banbury’s cause.
And so here we are – eight of us at the moment – a mixture of wannabe journalists, graphic designers, photographers and artists all in it for the glory.
That, readers, is where you come in...
Who I'd like to meet: If you think you can contribute something, want us to do a feature on an issue you feel strongly about, or just want to sit with us in an interview or meeting then stop slouching and get in touch. Whether your footwear of choice is a pair of battered Converse or the timeless Reebok Classics, we won’t judge you.
You could be a budding writer, artist, designer, photographer, all of these or none of these – if you like our style and want some of the action then we’ll be glad to hear from you.
We will be showcasing artists and designers so this is a great opportunity for you to get some free exposure. Get in touch and send us some of your work.
The first issue is due in April 2007 - to be launched at a fantastic FREE party including live music. Watch this space for more information.

If any of your readers/fans are looking for an inexpensive, but comfortable space for rehearsals or recording - look no further. We have a huge 520 SQ FOOT ROOM which is the rehearsal space (incl vocal p.a.) and doubles as the LIVE ROOM.
All recording and rehearsal sessions include tea and/or coffee as required and the atomsphere is relaxed and inspiring. PLUS it's a one studio studio, so you have complete privacy.
Recording is just £180 for a 10 hour day! and that includes an engineer and producer if required!
We also offer a mastering facility (to get your tracks sounding as loud and clear as commercial cds/downloads)
