  • Bio

.............. .. .. .. .. .. ...... .. With its infectious blend of 60's melodies, indie angst, and power-pop intensity, .. ..Ride On Rides.. is a simple band to love and a difficult band to forget. In a post-modern world full of carbon-copies their refreshing sound is assembled around sharp hooks, descending bass lines, Bowie-esque piano arrangements, catchy harmonies, and boombastic beats. The band creates a relationship with an audience with a textured musical atmosphere that is both familiar yet unique while remaining that rare thing which can be appreciated by both young and old, 8 to 80- a genre redefined: ..Vintage Post-Pop... .. L.A. Times Senior Music Writer, Kevin Bronson, recently described Ride On Rides as, "...tuneful, likable pop. Reminiscent of indie-poppers Voxtrot, a very good thing, and worth revisiting." The band has just finished an EP which is available soon on iTunes, and is currently recording new material for a full-length album with award winning Producer, Engineer, and studio-whiz, ..Krish Sharma.. (Rolling Stones, Perry Ferrel, The Cult, Liz Phair,+). .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

Hi, I had the idea to form a community website where bands, writers, film-makers, etc. Could make promotional exchanges. I would tell my 60K connections about their band, book, project, etc. In exchange they would tell their friends, fans & followers about my free compilation album. This is it. www.proex.biz And it's free! When you think of the possibilities; to have your CD, book, website, business or service promoted in the most friendly way to millions of people worldwide, I think this is as good as it gets. All you have to do is hook up with fellow members and a offer personal exchange. There is a nice & easy component that allows you to both offer & accept promotional exchanges. Simple & Beautiful & Free! Get to know some good people right now! Very best wishes, Billy
