I am a musician in the electronic music genre (some call it New Age or Ambient, but I prefer to simply call it electronic music).
I only uses hardware synths, no pc's except for writing the compositions using musical notation for my songs. I composes by using a combination of both musical notation and my keyboards until a project is finished.
I have issued 3 cassette tapes in 1980/81 in the early underground days of todays electronic music. ("Source", "Music for Wind", "Voices") and one CD "Return" in 2007. The two last of the early cassettes was later re-issued in 1998, as CD's from the original master tapes.
I am now working on a new CD planned for release in 2009. The cover title "Absynth" can already be found in my player here. The "Absynth" name is derrived from "Absinth", an alcholic drink. Some of the artists, authors and art painters around a century ago, -"the bohemians" consumed a lot of their favourite drink at the time; "Absinth" (which still can be bought in some contries). It was believed that long time consumation of "Absinth" could lead to excentrism and madness. The "Absynth" tune starts out quietly (as from a harmonic and peaceful soul), but ends up more wild (as from a soul affected by long time use of "Absinth"). Enjoy.
All covers are created by the art painter and my brother, Jarl-Hugo (Jarli) (also the father of Akeron). My older brother, Jarli -did also run an underground electronic music magazine those years, called "Agitasjon". He also helped other artist releasing their works via his magazine, including the UK artist Mark Shreeve (Redshift), which some of you may have heard of. This was a fine time and we also personally learned to know Klaus Schulze from Germany when he and Rainer Bloss visited Norway as a part of Klaus Schulzes biggest europe tour in the 80's.

Hi there,I REALLY LIKE your music, vocals and melodies!Brilliant electronic sounds! If you want, please check out my songs, one("Nothing To Believe In")is a kind of jazzy-prog ballad with some eastern, classical and new wave elements, inspired by David Bowie,David Sylvian,Japan,Mick Karn,Arcadia,Masami Tsuchiya,The Associates/Billy Mackenzie,Furniture,Eyeless In Gaza,Metro,Scott Walker,The Cure and many others! The second("Formerly Known As The King")is a whole different style,a mix between psychedelic post-punk and symphonic power-metal,somehow ispired by Muse and Sonata Arctica, but with trashy lyrics! Hope you enjoy them! cheers from Rome Mario
