I am a sports FREAK! I love athletics of almost any kind, especially team sports and I have recently bit the Fantasy bug. I currently have a football and an EPL team. I love listening to music (see below). I love movies (look down a little further). I love shoes (athletic, NIKE), I draw/design them in my spare time (not much of, by the way). But most of all I looooooove JESUS!!

Music
Everytime someone asks, I have a really hard time answering. Though I have recently come to the conclusion that Darren Hayes (including his days with Savage Garden) is my favorite artist. Linkin Park and Shawn McDonald are up there too. Ultimately, I like anything and everything that has a catchy beat, lyric, instrument, melody, whatever. Unique. You'd have to look at my collection to really understand my taste. Techno, Rock, Pop, Soft Rock, Christian, Rap, Classic Rock, Alternative, '80s, Country,... anything good. But I generally don't like Oldies, any seriously crazy Metal, redundant or clichéed jazz. I can appreciate classical, but if it's not too interesting, different or unique I have a hard time paying attention or caring. Generally, I love music! Plus it's the most obvious form of worship and I enjoy worshiping God through music.
Movies
Just like music, anything good. I have a huge soft spot for comedy. Gotta love an action flick. Dramas and scary thrillers are good, a Disney animation, and yes, even the occasional romantic comedy spot my collection. However, I'm mostly drawn to a movie that tells an important story. When I see one like that, I feel the whole world needs to see it. I'm thinking of stuff like Passion of the Christ, United 93 (see the blog), Hotel Rwanda, The Nativity Story, Babel, Crash, The Pursuit of Happyness, Spanglish, Thirteen Days, etc. There are also fantastic fictional movies that tell great stories that need to be heard, like Open Range, V for Vandetta, Hustle & Flow, Minority Report, Runaway Jury, etc. But of course, movies are for entertainment and some of my favorites include The Bourne Identity and Supremacy, Batman Begins, the Harry Potter series, The Hunted, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Love Actually, The Incredibles, Moulin Rouge, Seabiscuit, Thirteen Days, X-men, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, Star Wars movies, Back to the Future Trilogy, 8 Mile, Napoleon Dynamite, The Emperor's New Groove, The Count of Monte Cristo,... you get the idea.
Television
I don't get much of a chance to watch any, and that's OK with me. But when I do, I love to overdose on Sportscenter. I enjoy sitcoms like Scrubs, The Office, 30 Rock, Family Guy, Will & Grace, Who's Line Is It Anyway,... Extreme Home Make Over and the ensuing How'd They Do That? are a good dose of great reality television. Comedy Central is quite cool, especially their Friday Night Standup. I love to catch music videos (except those of rap songs) if they're on without interruption (i.e., preferrably not MTV). I have a history of being caught watching and enjoying TLC, History and Discovery Channels. And of course, I can't resist major sporting events. I go out of my way to try to see them if I don't have access. I love watching football games (college because of the heart, pros because of Fantasy Football), hockey playoffs (YAY, the lockout's over!!!), baseball, soccer (I'm stoked about the attention America gave the WORLD CUP!) and lacrosse (too bad I live on the West Coast). Basketball (college) and volleyball are best seen in person, but NBA playoffs and NCAA tourney games as well as beach volleyball can be entertaining.
Books
Not much of a book reader, though I do try to dig into the Bible on a daily basis. I emphasize TRY. :( Otherwise, I'm a big Michael Chichton and Nicholas Sparks fan, pretty much because those are the only two authors I've ever really read for fun/entertainment! Ha! I also listened to The Da Vinci Code on audiobook (a great way to read, I think). ;) Although I was a little disappointed to find that I listened to the abridged version. Otherwise, I'm totally down for recommendations when I make time for a book. If it's good though, I'll make time for it. Also, I LOVE my Sports Illustrated, can't get enough of it! And no, not the swimsuit issue.
Heroes
God, for making it all happen. Jesus, for taking my place. The Holy Spirit for stickin' with me. From a human standpoint, firefighters, police officers, teachers and all those social/civil servants that deserve WAY more than they get. Aaron Cooper is one of the best designers of all time plus one of the most awesomest people I have ever met, I can go to him with anything. My brother, who means more to me than I could ever explain or he will ever admit. He is a prime example of a good student, awesome person, caring friend, loving family member and a passionate Christian.

About me: Quite a broad topic. Well basics: I'm a Christian, I'm a student at CSULB pursuing a career in any field at Nike while currently working at an ad agency in Irvine.
