"I discovered "RiffWorks" by pure luck and was totally blown away. RiffWorks has given users the ability to easily and intuitively collaborate with other fellow musicians 3,000+ miles away in real time has given me a brand new avenue for musical creativity. That's why RiffWorks was a "no-brainer" for one of my all-time favorite NAMM Best in Show picks. Rock on, RiffWorks!" by Alan Friedman, musician, NAMM Best in Show panelist, and CPA to the music industry
"RiffWorld is definitely worth checking out."

"RiffWorks-maker Sonoma Wire Works unveiled a new collaboration portal called RiffWorld that allows Mac and PC musicians to work on songs together."
Accessed through the RiffWorks software, musicians have the option to login into the service when the application starts. When you join an online project any layer you record is added to the project for the rest of the group to hear.
The community has been under development for about a year and a half. In that time beta testers 600 songs were created by more than 200 musicians worldwide.
Projects and recorded layers are kept on the RiffWorld servers and can be opened and downloaded at anytime.
RiffWorld offers musician profile pages where musicians list their gear, RiffWorks songs and collaborations, and comments - similar interests are linked automatically, making it easy to find people with the same musical taste. Musicians chat about song posts and collaborations on RiffWorld.com and directly inside RiffWorks while they play.
