The formation of Rigby began when Benji Harris (former member of the Dallas pop-rock band "Thief") and James Guckenheimer (former drummer for Texas-country band "The Rusty Brothers") decided to combine forces to create an act rooted in classic American Rock-and-Roll. Drawing from a wide-range of influences, the members of Rigby have abandoned today's pop-radio template for songwriting and throw back to a time when guitar solos and impovisational jams ruled the airwaves. One part rock, one part blues, with a dash of funk, Rigby's live show is tribute to the music that has stood the test of time.

hey WOW definately sounds like everything is on the right track for you guys, great stuff!!! not that im suprised I genuinely really love your tracks and think you have a fab sound. With my band we have had to take a step back from gigging recently as a our lead singer left, we had some interest from a local record company and she felt she couldnt give the commitment, so we auditioned found a new lead singer and are in the process of teaching her our tracks but also writing some new ones too. Got a gig next month so should be back on the band scene here in the uk very soon. bet you wish you'd never asked now huh haha. I lived in Dallas 4 3 months after Katrina thats how i heard about y'all - i wanted to go to the show wed. *my B'day!! but i won be able to get to Dallas just yet maybe in December sometime if not I get up there every once and a while and I def. want to go see a show!!
