Músico caraqueño que cuenta con tres producciones como solista siendo la primera "Bartók's Room" (musea records 2.000), disco que al ser publicado en Francia fue escogido para la "Selección del mes" con excelentes críticas de varios países como Austria, Estados Unidos, Japón, Alemania, Italia y Argentina. Posteriormente publica el primero de una trilogía: "Mitxelena III: Nauthiz" (producción independiente 2.004) y luego una recopilación de piezas compuestas para dos cortometrajes rodados en Australia dirigidos por Marcel Rasquin "Ring" (2.003) y "Happy Endings" (2.004) titulada "Música de película" (2.004).
Desde 2.004 forma parte como guitarrista del cuarteto de jazz-fusión del pianista francés Laurent LéCuyer, con quien se ha presentado en numerosos locales y festivales de Jazz. En el año 2.005 entra a formar parte de la banda "Bacalao Men" y trabaja con ellos hasta el año 2.007.
Como sesionista ha participado con numerosos artistas nacionales e internacionales tanto en la grabación de discos como en giras (Soul Machine -Mallorca-, JEMM -Aruba-, Divine, Roque Valero, Elisa Rego, Kiara, Víctor Muñoz, Los Hidalgo, Angel James, Ciudad Satélite).
Se ha desempeñado en el área de producción, post-producción, mezcla y edición de audio en varios trabajos como "SOLO BASS" del bajista Oscar Fanega (2.003).
En el ámbito publicitario ha producido música para comerciales nacionales e internacionales (Coca-Cola, Nokia, Ariel, Mabe entre otros). También ha intervenido como guitarrista y programador con diversidad de productores comerciales como Julio D'Escriban, Olegario Díaz, Pablo Estacio, Javier Blanco, Carlos Cuéllar, Arturo Cabrera.
Actualmente se encuentra masterizando su cuarta producción discográfica "Mitxelena II: Atlantique" así como preproduciendo el último disco de esta trilogía "Mitxelena I" en la que se le escuchará acompañado por el bajista Giovanni Ramírez y el baterista Diego Maldonado.
