people who have ever been in circa:
dave wise, jacob edwards, zoki tasic, dan wolfe, nate eubanks, jesse mcclary, chris leonard, scott brandenberger, ryan quilty . . .
Neil Young, American Music Club, The Clash, Low, J.D. Salinger, Denis Johnson, Flannery O'Connor & Anne Lamott. Or maybe not. I don't know. You tell us.
***Update 12/1/08 approx. 3AM: Just uploaded some of the final masters. That is to say the album is done. All that's left is the packaging aspect. I'm not sure when, if ever, this album will be "released". There really isn't a band again and I don't have the time or resources to put it out correctly at this moment. However, things are prone to change. Hope to see you soon, Mitch (circa). ***

Circa uses crashing guitars, gunshot drumming and the occasional synth to drive out their tunes. The Clash, Engine 88, Sordid Humor, American Music Club, Low, Flannery 0'Connor and J.D. Salinger are counted as influences. Maybe it's loud folk songs of being on the outside and always having to look in. On your toes. Face pressed against the class, but still on the outside.

i don't know why i assumed. i guess now that you say it i knew they weren't. maybe i got confused because kit and lacy used to date and lacy's a twin. wow. i just made myself out to be more of an ass than i already was.
I've been in the writing process for some time now, I've found a drummer, actually a friend of mine from new london, and we've been rocking out a bit, but yeah I'm still very much working on some full length songs to release...and an album...but like everything it's a work in progress
