Right On FM was created to promote soulful music of all genres, times and parts of the world. The Right On Radio Show (initially called Off World Radio Show) was created in 2002 along with its Internet outlet: the Right On FM website (www.righton.fm).
Our website was designed to host regular contributions from other djs too: the finest radio-shows from all over the globe and we also post one off guest mixes from both friends and international top djs/artists, and reviews from the music we love.

Detroit expat Matthew Chicoine AKA Recloose has been rocking clubs, concert halls, warehouses, churches, and clock radios around the world for the last ten years. As an understudy of techno legend Carl Craig, Mr. Chicoine developed a keen ear for music that inspires, moves, challenges, and still forces you to jiggle your ass.
So, after a seven year hiatus from radio, Recloose finds his way back to the airwaves via George FM for his New Zealand broadcast debut. ‘HIT IT AND QUIT IT’ is a showcase of hand-selected gems collected over years of vinyl digging from across the musical universe- soul classics, jazz, go-go and hip-hop, disco, boogie, future funk, unreleased exclusives, and other global dancefloor business. Featuring national and international guests from the Recloose musical camp, occasional antics, and a big-ass library of music to inspire the lovers and the dancers alike.

Javi Frias has been collecting and playing records for more than ten years since his early days as a young 'soul boy' in Madrid. Nowadays he's one of the most respected DJs of underground black music in Spain, with residents in some of the best clubs of Granada: Afrodisia, Boogaclub and Sugarpop. Some other places where he's been djing at are: Hamburg (Germany), Leipzig (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium), Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao, Cordoba, Marbella...
He's been doing several radio shows since 2002. In 2007 he started Sound Dimension, a weekly radio show where you can find the best in underground black music, from the vintage sounds to the latest, quality electronic evolution of these grooves: Soul, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Rare Grooves, Jazz, Latin, Boogie, Afrobeat, Breaks, Broken Beats, Nujazz, Deep & Soulful House, Hip Hop, Bmore, Mash Ups, Re-Edits... Always with and elegant, educational and addictive point of view.
In addition of his work as club and radio DJ, he's the drummer of one of the best soul bands in the groove scene, Al Supersonic & The Teenagers.
