Right Tempo was founded by Rocco -mad on jazz- Pandiani in 1993.
The intention was to release Music composed and produced in Italy. The initial message was simple but effective - to promote and produce uncompromised Music of various genres, attitudes and influences.
By releasing Nicola Conte's initial productions such as Paolo Achenza Trio, Quintetto X and Fez Combo straight out of Fez Club's fame and Right Tempo Classic re-issues such as Tempo Jazz, Dire Tempo Jazz, -Scicluna Street by Giorgio Azzolini, Mayafra by Mayafra Combo, Mirage by Romano Mussolini and Gil Cuppini Quintet What's New Vol 2-, Right Tempo was the first Italian label to gain international recognition for it's distinctive Italian blend of Music superficially known at the time as Acid Jazz.
In 1995 Easy Tempo series delivers world wide the hidden but timeless and stainless catalogue of Original Soundtracks from Italy.
So many labels and artists have been inspired by Right Tempo thru the 90's and over.
Pride, originality, passion and obsession have crafted one of the purest and most commited indie label around: Right Tempo.
