...A Little Piece of an Unknown History of Another Woman.
The products I create are strictly unique. They have been made with the utmost care, using top quality vintage Japanese silk. All of the silk is from Kimonos and Obis that were disassembled because they were no longer suitable for wear, so there may be a few slight imperfections (which only add character and history). The fabric is very precious and rare - Hand selected in extremely limited amounts, never to be used to create the same style twice. These items are not "recycled", but rather renewed as an art piece, unleashing the original beauty of the fabric.
I make every effort to create articles that are playful, colourful, ladylike and a little bit magical. Each conveys its own secret story, mood and personality.
My hope is for my products to be carried, worn or displayed as anyone would a precious piece of jewellery, a delicate flower or their favourite toy as a child.
...and make it part of their history.
