To all my friends, because I Love You:
I'm a child of a preacher and was placed at the pulpit to sing my first solo when I was 4. Through out my young life I sang in church and school and when I hit 16 I became a member of the band Adam Again. That amazing and wild run lasted until 2000, believe it or not. I've done 4 solo projects, the one closest to my heart being the last . I moved to Nashville in '94 and in '96 married the love of my life. We recently celebrated our 13th anniversary and are now the proud parents of a 6 year old, sweet & spunky little girl and the jolliest little sack of potatos who is 3 years old. I work in clay and love to sing and pray my path includes both always. Peace.
I have to agree with Aron, it sounds kinda weird to be a big fan at 38; but I've been a fan since I was 19! I admit I have never actually heard Adam Again, but have always been into your solo stuff. Best stuff ever! Really. God bless you and your family!
Hi Riki, I enjoyed checking out your site. Love the pictures. Your kids are growing so fast. Last time I saw you in concert, my Son was 1 years old (he's 16 now). Shows how fast time goes by. Miss the Adam Again days but these times as a parent are pretty stinkin' good too. Love your solo stuff. Listen to your latest at least once a week. (It does sound like a vacation). I now have three kids(all the way down to 3 years old). Feel free to check out my slide show too with plenty of picks of my kiddos and leave a comment too (I'd love to hear from you). At 42 years of age, it just sounds funny saying I'm a huge fan but whatever. Have a great Day Riki! Peace, Aron
Hi! How are you doing? Not checked in with you in a while but hoping all is ticked-booo.. Please go and check out my latest creation- video to Ivory Tower. I am immensely proud and happy with it! Downloads available too! Would love to hear your feedback. Love and light to you. xx
Thanks for stopping by my cafe'! Kick off your shoes and enjoy some great Irish tunes in honor of Saint Patrick's day. A proud heritage of mine! Blessings and Peace come your way "Redd" Sonia
Your timeless, magical voice continues to express delight and pleasure in your relationship with Jesus. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift of your music to all of us!
you are too funny... just got back from this conference called catalyst in atlanta.
lots of high energy christian tunes and speakers from all kinds of thinking...
nothing really moved me until 20 or so african orphans... like 8 and 9 years old hit the stage singing these songs to pre programmed music and i started tearing up.
like for the first time in years.
anyways.
amazing african kids.
turned all my worship thoughts into joyful dust.
no - i was not high when i left you my last message!
i just wanted you to know how freaking amazing you always have been.
even when i was a punk kid in a music store selling 10 Songs and looking at mysterious blurry pics band members in of Adam Again CD Booklets.
There are very few women that sing from the soul without sounding like vocal gymnastics gone wild.
you are the best. in my humble opinion.
and i hope things are well in your world and life and family and all that is in it.
back in san antonio now... tomorrow i get up early to lead worship at church...
whatever that looks like to a bunch of people new to church and God and all things in between.
thank you for adding me! I'm glad I found you on myspace. I'm finding alot of great bands and musicians from back in the day it makes my heart glad! I loved the background vocals on 3/27/87, that album saved my life! your contrbution can't be overstated. I'm now going to check out and add Adam Again!
Hello Riki, I saw you were on so, I wanted to say, "Hello" and wish you a nice night and a nice Thursday. I've always held your profile in respect because I think I know what you stand for...I also remember your voice on Adam Again....your voice is etched in my mind. I have always liked your default pic as well:) I wish you the best. sajrow.
At a casino in San Bernardino on 9/4. We are doing a cover set between two sets of originals. An indie band I'm with at the moment: http://www. myspace. com/tcemusic. Have you been in touch with Paul? Several years ago I rehearsed with him a few times for a solo project he was starting, but we lost touch.
Hey, got a gig next week and we're doing "Ain't no Sunshine." I talked the band into doing a few of the tricks in Gene's arrangement, the way I remember doing it the few times I played with AA.
