    Thanks for the encouragement, sweetie.  I'm not argumentative (not to their faces anyway).  I'm quite good at keeping a stiff upper lip until I'm I'm alone/at home.  It's just so difficult to do ANYTHING around here without being stared at at watching people whisper about you and point at you like you're the circus freak!  This is why I'm a writer, I can be alone!  LOL.  I just need to find a paying writing gig out here to supplement my book sales from VHP.  Anyhoo, I know that in the long run, I'll be doing right by the world by teaching my 3 year old step-daughter tolerance and acceptance of all.  I will admit, though, sometimes the ignorance that surrounds us just really gets under my skin.  Oh well.

    Have a good night, hon.  I'll drop you a line once I get my computer up and running (this back-up computer is just not conducive for my work or ability to truly communicate).  I'd love to meet up with you some time.  With the holiday season here, it might be difficult, but I know you & I can work something out.  :)

    Thank you so much for the sweet blog comment!  :)  We were way up in Alexandria Bay and Boldt Castle.  Have you ever been there?  It is phenomenal!  I'm excited to be heading towards your neck of the woods!  ;)
    Also, she's reading Final Sin & it is scaring the crap out of her!  LOL.  Although it's scary, it's been a great read for her.  She said it's very intense & frightening.  So kudos to you for writing yet another amazing book!  :)

    A poem to accompany my Samantha Comix:

    AAAAhh the sounds of bells
    the ringing in my ear
    is it a sound to love or a sound to fear
    The alarm clock has that buzz
    The time is drawing near
    The days off will soon become was
    as back to school is here.

    The children at first miss their friends
    and it's a happy time with pretense
    Then snaps the reality of homework
    and projects to drive one berserk
    and here comes the state with their test
    and parents really know for months
    they will have no rest!
